They say that gardening is the best form of therapy. It could also be the cheapest.
I have the greatest respect for those who grow fruits and vegetables in their own gardens. I can not even understand the time commitment it must take to plant, water and harvest everything. I just barely had time to walk around the radius of the products at my local grocery store, so kudos to those of you with green thumbs.
That being said, I tried my hand at gardening few times altogether, each time with disastrous results. Long story short, all green, I touch turns to dust. I'm really good to make fertilizer for all plants I managed to kill, however.
So for those of you in the same boat as me, here are 20 tips that will make everyone think you belong on the cover of Fine Gardening.
1. Turn your plastic cutlery used in the garden markers.
